Uphill Policies

West Coast Uphill Ski Resort Policies

We reviewed 46 resorts on or near the West Coast of the US.

At this time, there are only 11 resorts that have written uphill travel policies.

There are 8 resorts, 7 of which are in California, that do not allow any uphill travel.

As one of the most progressive regions in the country, it is disappointing that more mountain resorts haven't embraced uphill ski travel. We hope that we can help change this in the near future.

Resort access varies widely. You will find below the hours allowed and potential cost for your local resort and you can review the resort's written uphill poicies before you head out. We do our best to provide the most accurate informaton but please be sure to check with your local resort before heading out on the mountain.
